After the event: The Word On The Street, Toronto

We participated in The Word On The Street (WOTS) September 23rd, 2012 in Toronto.

There is something special about meeting avid readers face to face and receiving honest, candid feedback about your products and booth.  The buzz and excitement was overwhelming as we rushed to set up in the morning in anticipation of a great day!

Jill Walsh and Lorii Myers -- 7 layers of clothes
Lorii in shirt number one -- shortly before throwing hot coffee all over herself and everyone else within a six foot radius!

Special thanks to Helen Raynard Cox -- Leda's Special Events Mgr and Wendy McGregor -- Leda's Publicity Mgr
You rock girls!

Lorii in Shirt number three -- yes more coffee spills! I think she was holding the coffee to stay warm instead of drinking it???
Wendy in the background stowing anything spillable.

Lorii was up scrubbing these carrots until one a.m. Sunday morning. Who says the life of an author is not glamorous?

Lorii and Wendy trying to shake off the hypothermia.

...and yes, it goes without saying...
THE RIGHT ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING!

Our special thanks to everyone that came out to see us and thank you Toronto!
