HITTING INTO THE WIND

An excerpt from Make it Happen

Wind is an uncontrollable variable that makes the game of golf more interesting, challenging, and definitely frustrating. When you have to hit into the wind, you try defying or mitigating the winds’ impact by hitting low. You choose a club with less loft and move the ball back a bit in your stance. A two-club wind (generally you can hit clubs ten yards further as they get longer so a two-club wind means you need to hit twenty yards further to offset the effect of the wind) can stop a ball in mid air having it drop well short of what you were shooting for.
Well think of anyone creating chaos in your life as an uncontrollable variable. You need to defy or mitigate their impact on your life. Their negative influence can drag you down or stop you short!
